About

I am a web and new media designer, currently working freelance on web and 3D projects, and based on the South coast of England.

I worked for the Nature Publishing Group from November 2007 to March 2009, on projects such as the Elucian Islands website and the design of Nature Podcasts, which received a Webby Honoree in the pocasting category of the 2009 Webby Awards.  In 2008 I completed the redevelopment of the Nature Island in Second Life itself, developing a full virtual world conference centre suite, terraforming the islands and designing a new plaza.

Previous projects include work for the Forward Group publishing company; the design of two forthcoming editions of the Ford ezine, mailed to almost a million subscribers in 11 languages across Europe. Other clients include Glasgow design agency Lawrence Creative, Shetland Islands Council and Lyrical Scotland. I have several years of experience in web design and new media, having a Bsc in Multimedia Technology.

Prior to this I worked for the Living Language Company, working within a Director environment and creating video scenarios comprising animated 3D characters using Poser and 3D Studio Max.
